MicroMediaTM – World Premiere for Ultrafine Grinding to the Lower Nano-Range

On the occasion of ACHEMA 2006, Buhler AG is launching the all new High Tech agitated bead mill of pilot size MicroMediaTM P1.

The novel technology of introducing the grinding energy and the kind of internal product conduct are specifically designed for a safe and reliable use of extremely fine beads from 300 µm down to 20 µm. Depending on the requirements of different material systems, the operating conditions can be varied from “soft milling” up to “high energy grinding”, in any case combined with unusually high flowrates. Thus yet unknown quality standards at highest levels are achievable, corresponding with particle size distributions in the lower nanometer range. As outstanding feature of the innovative mill concept the obtained results can be linearly scaled up to production size mills of the MicroMediaTM – series, which will be introduced to the market shortly.
