After a comprehensive R&D exercise the Vertical Cone Nibbler has been launched to extend the range of applications to provide particle size reduction as low as 150 to 250 microns.

Incorporating a vertically mounted rotating paddle assembly inside a conical serrated screen the gentle action produces a close particle size tolerance for many different products including dry, moist, fatty, sticky and heat sensitive materials.

The versatility of the unit is enhanced by the new fully variable rotor adjustment, which changes the gap between the tool and cone to optimise the quality of the final product. A frequency inverter drive can also be provided to further improve the final particle size.

The range of gap adjustment can vary infinitely between 0 to 15 mm and is made by a simple mechanical adjuster from outside the machine body improving access and safety.

The Cone Nibbler is available in three sizes 150, 300 and 350 mm the size of which is dependant upon the application and the machine has been designed for easy cleaning and maintenance making it an ideal choice for the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Proving trials can be undertaken at the Gericke test centre or at the production site.
